Veeno Leeds has been at 5 Wellington Place since 2019, bringing authentic Italian wine bar culture to the heart of the city. We are an Italian wine bar and restaurant in equal measure — the food is taken as seriously as the wine, and the two are designed to work together.

What makes us different from any other Italian restaurant in Leeds is simple: every wine on our menu comes from independent Italian family vineyards across Sicily, Campania, Tuscany, Piedmont, Puglia, and Veneto. Several are exclusive to Veeno in the UK — you will not find them in a supermarket or wine merchant anywhere else in the country.

Every wine at VEENO comes from independent Italian family vineyards — Caruso & Minini in Sicily, Vigne Storte in Campania, La Smilla in Piedmont, Bixio in Veneto, Feudi Di Guagnano in Puglia, and Sorelli in Tuscany. Several are not available in any UK supermarket or wine merchant. The only place in the UK you can try them is with us.

Yes. VEENO Leeds serves a full Italian menu including stone-baked pizza, fresh pasta, bruschetta, sharing boards, and small plates. Our Tagliatelle al Ragu is cooked in Nero d'Avola and our Paccheri alla Carbonara is made the authentic Italian way — without cream.
